After a blazing hot summer in Buenos Aires, I will now be heading up the Brazllian coast all the way up to the most eastern tip of the latin american continent. Most of all, i look forward to some lazy seaside gigs and hopefully get some good new songs on the way. I am currently working on my next EP called "The Ngen Spirits" and will feature some songs i left off the last record as well as some new material.

It has been a great adventure recording "Underneath The Sun" and I have learnt much. The most difficult thing for me these past few months was letting go of imperfections in my music and just trying not to always think about it too much, just being spontaneous and going for it when it felt right. As a musician you always grow and your understanding of music is always developing, your hearing always evolving, so at some point you have to draw the line and say this is good enough for now or else you can keep going forever. I think for any artist, learning to accept his or her music for what it is can be difficult because you hear the melodies so many times that it's hard to listen with a fresh approach, it's difficult to put yourself in the "listeners seat". An artist will always see the flaws in his or her work, but i think as with anything, loving it and letting it be with all of its imperfections makes it even that much more beautiful.
